Quality Improvement & Consultation

Quality Improvement is a systematic approach often used to improve service delivery by standardising processes, reducing variation, improving outcomes and performance. Ultimately the goal is to achieve better patient outcomes, system performance and professional development.

Quality Improvement initiatives and approaches are widely used within private and public services, such as the NHS, however, can provide challenges, may not be grounded in a theory or have an appropriate measurement plan in place that can support the identified goal.

I am a Scottish Quality Improvement and Leadership (ScIL) graduate and have a portfolio of quality improvement projects dating to 2017 where I first found my passion for quality improvement and group therapy. Therefore, my experience is centred on implementing and evaluating therapeutic services, in particular group therapy programmes.
